Support beyond WhatsApp
Beyond WhatsApp, Zapini lets you connect other channels so your team handles everything in a single panel. In this guide, see how to connect Telegram, Instagram Direct, and Slack from the /integrations page.
Telegram (bot)
The Telegram integration works through a bot. The general flow is:
- Create a bot in Telegram and obtain its token.
- In /integrations, open the Telegram integration and paste the token.
- Save to start receiving and replying to messages inside Zapini.
From then on, Telegram conversations appear alongside the others in support.
Instagram Direct
Instagram Direct connects the direct messages of your professional profile to Zapini. Setup involves authorizing access to the Instagram account so DMs reach the panel.
- Use a professional/business Instagram account.
- Receiving messages follows Meta platform rules, including the 24-hour window for free-form replies.
💡 Tip: remember Instagram's 24-hour window. Outside it, there are restrictions on the type of message you can send — reply quickly to keep the conversation flowing.
Slack
The Slack integration sends Zapini notifications and messages to your team's channels. It's ideal for keeping your internal team informed without opening the panel all the time. The connection is made by authorizing Zapini in your Slack workspace.
Best practices
- Connect one channel at a time and run a real message test.
- Check the integration's status on the /integrations page after saving.
- Combine channels with tags and the Kanban funnel to organize support by source.
With several channels connected, all support stays centralized, and your team replies faster without switching between apps.
